Applying to College with Special Needs
If you require accommodations as per a professional's diagnosis and report (e.g. psychologist, speech language pathologist, etc.), it is important to do the following after you have been accepted to college:
▪Contact the college to provide them with documentation identifying a diagnosis and accommodations required (e.g. psychological evaluation). Please see below for contact information by college.
▪An IEP (Individualized Education Plan) will be created at the college and all teachers will be made aware of required accommodations (e.g. additional time on tests/quizzes; assistive technology; teacher notes in advance, etc.)
